1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and software identifiers. Some are necessary to deliver a requested service or protect a website; others measure behaviour or support advertising and normally require prior consent in many jurisdictions.
This policy covers browser storage and similar technology used on svfacade.com. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
2. What the current website uses
| Name / control | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Project-form rate limit | Server-side transient · necessary | Uses a pseudonymous value derived from an IP address to prevent repeated automated submissions. It is not stored in your browser. | 5 minutes |
| Hosting / security controls | Server logs or strictly necessary session technology | Availability, abuse prevention and technical troubleshooting. Exact controls depend on the production host and security configuration. | Normally up to 90 days for logs; shorter for session controls |
Swipe the table horizontally on mobile.
At the reviewed date, the public site does not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising cookies or an embedded map, and therefore shows no first-visit consent banner. If a future WordPress integration adds a non-essential tool, it must remain blocked until the relevant consent is recorded and this table is updated. The consent choice would then be stored locally as sv_cookie_consent_v1 for 180 days.
3. Consent categories
Necessary
Security, requested form delivery and essential hosting controls. These operate only as needed to provide or protect the service.
Analytics
Optional measurement of page use and site performance. No analytics provider is currently active. This category is off by default.
Marketing
Optional advertising, remarketing or cross-site tracking. No marketing provider is currently active. This category is off by default.
4. Manage or withdraw consent
Because no optional analytics or marketing tool is active, the current site does not show a first-visit consent banner. If optional technology is introduced, a low-profile choice ribbon will offer “Necessary only”, “Accept all” and “Manage choices” with no optional category pre-selected.
The settings control below appears only while optional tracking is active. Withdrawing consent affects future use and does not make earlier lawful processing invalid.
An optional choice is retained for 180 days unless you clear browser storage or we materially change the policy.
5. Third-party destinations
Our WhatsApp and map links take you to external websites or apps. Those providers may use their own cookies after you follow the link; Starveil does not control that external storage. Because the services are linked rather than embedded, they do not set their service cookies merely because you view a Starveil page.
6. Production, WordPress and future GTM deployment
Google Tag Manager is planned but is not active at the reviewed date. Before a GTM container is published, Google Consent Mode v2 must default analytics and advertising signals to “denied”; the container must remain deferred until at least one optional category is accepted; and every GA4, advertising or Custom HTML tag must have the correct additional consent checks. A GTM container ID must never be treated as consent by itself.
The WordPress engineer must keep non-essential scripts behind the same consent categories, avoid duplicate consent banners, test the reject and withdrawal paths in GTM Preview, and update this policy with the real providers, cookies and durations whenever a plugin, embedded media, analytics platform, advertising tag or hosting control changes the actual storage used. Consent records should be auditable without storing more personal data than necessary.
We will update the reviewed date when this policy changes. A material change may cause the banner to ask for a new choice.
